Barbershop Owners: How Do You Manage Walk-Ins, Phones & Unpredictable Arrivals?

We’re conducting a research study with barbershop owners to understand how real shops manage appointments, walk-ins, wait times, and no-shows, especially during peak hours. This is not a sales conversation. We want to learn how barbershops actually operate when: Customers arrive early, late, or not at all Chairs sit empty due to no-shows Walk-ins disrupt the scheduled flow Booking tools feel either too rigid or too loose We’re focused on shops that value flexibility and simplicity, not heavy CRM or enterprise scheduling software.
