Seeking Surgeons, Nurses & Staff Familiar with Rib Fracture Care
We're Duke graduate students exploring, at an early and surface level, new ways to improve care for patients with rib fractures. We're seeking orthopedic, thoracic, and trauma surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrative staff for a short interview (15-20 minutes). We'd like to learn how rib fracture surgeries are currently performed, what methods are used to treat and heal these injuries, and where patients and care teams face challenges. This is academic research for a university course, not sales, and no patient information is needed. Your insight will help us understand real clinical needs, with the goal of improving comfort and recovery for patients.
